About the Role:
We’re on the hunt for a motivated Junior Road Freight Operator to help keep our container transport operations running smoothly. If you’ve got experience with the Vehicle Booking System (VBS) and know your way around container logistics, we’d love to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:
📅 Schedule container pickups and deliveries using VBS.
📞 Work with drivers, shipping lines, and port authorities to keep things moving.
📍 Track container movements and update systems.
⚡ Help solve transport hiccups and delays.
🗂️ Keep records of bookings, movements, and documents tidy.
🤝 Support senior staff with day-to-day tasks.
What You’ll Need:
✔️ Experience with VBS in a container transport setting.
✔️ Basic knowledge of port operations and container logistics.
✔️ Great communication and organisational skills.
✔️ Ability to handle a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
✔️ Skills in transport management systems and Microsoft Office.
Bonus Points:
✨ Worked with hauliers or freight forwarders.
✨ Familiar with customs procedures and container tracking systems.
